Heavy Duty Artisan® TORO-3200 Stitchers with a 12 1⁄2” working area cylinder bed are known as Compound Needle Feed, Walking Foot (Unison Feed) Lockstitch Sewing Machine and include a very large size Bobbin and Oscillating Shuttle Hook system designed to stitch from as light as 2 to 3 sheets of paper, up to as heavy as 9⁄10 inch or 24.1 mm thick. Some features of the Artisan® TORO-3200 include a lever-type stitch regulator with Reverse feed and a built-in bobbin winder mechanism.
The machines stitch using threads manufactured using bonded twisted Nylon or Poly Threads from lightweight sizes such as z-69 (tex 70) up to as heavy as size z-415 (tex 410) industrial threads. We recommend genuine SCHMETZ brand Needles from diameters as light as 794 NM110, (#18) up to NM250 (#27) including leather point needles 794 S #21 to #26 and 794 D #23 to #25. Artisan® is the direct distributor of the Schmetz brand, German manufactured the highest quality needles and carries all of the various sizes.

The New Artisan® TORO-3200 “U” is a complete sewing system as shown in the adjoining photograph. We recommend the TORO-3200 series stitchers for sewing all types of light/medium and up to very heavy vegetable tanned leathers and many other projects. Some of the items recommended for stitching on the Artisan TORO-3200 series are Western and English style Saddles, Heavy and Light Belting Leather, Knife Sheaths, and Scabbards, Concealed Carry Holsters, Equestrian Tack of all kind, light to very heavy Harness, Head Stalls, Breast Collars, Chaps, Chinks, Hand Bags, Saddle Bags, Messenger Bags, Motorcycle Seats, Side Seaming Pull-on Boot Welting, Arrow Quivers, and all manner of Leather, Bio-Plastic, or Webbing. The “U” system, as shown includes the sewing machine and our exclusive Artisan® extremely high torque model ACF-680, 880 Watt, 1.1 HP, or ACF-681, 1100 Watt, 1.7 hp Digital Electronic A.C. Servo Motor with 5.3 Nm of torque in 110 volts or 220 volts.
The “U” Style Table
The “U” Style Table Top is manufactured in the USA, and the Adjustable “T” Style Steel Legs including four lockable high-quality caster wheels are included as well as the double intensity switched Artisan® ADR-124, low voltage gooseneck lamp with 24 LED.
Our complete accessory package for leather stitching always includes 10 additional SCHMETZ brand needles, 4 Aluminum Bobbins, the center groover presser foot, a left side presser foot, a right side presser foot, and a double toe presser foot.
The Artisan® deluxe swing away roller edge guide, a two-year supply of quality sewing machine oil, and a tool kit consisting of 2 open-end wrenches, 3 Allen wrenches, and 2 screwdrivers are included as well.
